People come to counselling for many different reasons. It may be that you have a particular issue that you want to talk about or it may be that you are not exactly clear why you are struggling with certain things. Perhaps you are feeling weighed down or anxious or perhaps you are feeling low and life feels very hard?
Counselling gives you the opportunity to explore your difficulties in a safe, accepting and confidential space. My aim is to provide a space where you feel free to talk openly and to be heard and understood. I work with you to enable you to gain clarity and make more sense of your world and your experiences. From this place you are able to gain more self-awareness, form healthier thought patterns and also grow in self-confidence and self-acceptance.
I don’t offer advise but I work alongside you, at your pace, to help you to develop a greater understanding of who you are and to grow in confidence and to trust in your own sense of what is right for you.
I work with clients with many different issues. These include:
- Depression and anxiety
- Low self esteem
- Dealing with crisis, uncertainty and change
- Feeling stuck
- Breaking patterns and mindsets
- Improving relationships with others
- Growing in self awareness / confidence to trust yourself
- Family issues

- Building resilience
- Anger issues
- Work related issues
- ASD (formerly known as Aspergers)
